I had to hurry and put something up for Halloween...I did this a couple months ago,but never scanned it...and nobody's really seen it.
This is a HorrorPops inspired pin-up. HorrorPops are one of my favorite bands,and this drawing is named after one of their songs,"Walk Like a Zombie" off their "Bring It On" album....I love,love,love that song. Redbird,2007. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. anyway...horrorpops and the nekromantix just get those images goin in your head,i love it....when i got "bring it on" i couldn't stop listening to "walk like a zombie"...and even my sister likes it,and she's not even into the rockabilly or psychobilly scene or music.
i just love the old pin-up artists:elvgren,runci,buell,ballantyne,petty,vargas,etc. i love the clothes and the bodytypes....so i try to emulate that,but with my own little twists and my other interests,like comic characters ,movie characters and whatever else floats my boat.
