It's been a long while since I've uploaded anything,and my husband says I'd better do it,before I'm forgotten
This is a fan art,I just loved the original so much,I had to draw it.It's from one of the issues of Marvel Illustrated/Swimsuit Edition that came out in the early 90s. I was just a kid then,but later when I found out about them,I knew they were right up my alley....Marvel characters in swimsuits! They should seriously start it up again,I'd buy it. I tracked down a copy of all five issues,and I love em.
Kymaera/Namorita is my second favorite hot blue chick( first being Mystique,of course)...and I've wanted to draw her for a long while...i figured paying tribute to this great piece was the perfect way to do it. I changed a few things,like her face. If you haven't seen the original, here it is [link]

Absolutely incredible work. Beautiful proportions, lighting, shading, line work EVERYTHING. Her face is beautiful while stil retaining all the elements that make her Namorita. You picked a very difficult angle and pulled it off famously. I especially like how her hair splays out underneath her and the perspective on the hook and the net.
